The Parents’ Association organises social events for the children and parents of the school. Past events include a School Disco, International Evening, Ashburnham’s Got Talent night, Summer and Christmas Fairs, and Film nights. We have a devoted team of helpers who craft, organize, fundraise, cook, and generally entertain the school population.
Such events enable us to raise money to provide additional resources for the school. All money raised is spent on long-term, school-wide resources to enrich the children’s learning.
You don’t have to be an expert at Origami. If you’d like to join the team or are simply able to lend a hand from time to time, we’d love to hear from you.
We have a list of willing parents who can be contacted as and when, to help with specific tasks. Usually this involves manning a stall for an hour at the summer fair, selling sweets at a film night or shifting a few tables! It’s just about helping as and when you can, as much or as little as you like. It can be fun and very rewarding.
If you would like to contact us, please drop into the school office, come and chat to one of us at school or contact Sue Harris.
We are blessed with a wide array of local businesses who support us by donating to Parent’s Association events and other activities. They range from small independent traders businesses to national chains. Please give something back by supporting them.
