Alvaro Garcia Martin

Alvaro is the PE coordinator at Ashburnham Community School. He was born in Cáceres, a charming city in western Spain where he studied an MSc Degree in Sport Sciences, a Master in Education and he started his PhD in Sport Sciences. Alvaro is as well a National handball coach back home in Spain

Alvaro managed to finish a Level 5 Certificate in Primary School PE Specialism at the University of Roehampton with the support of Ashburnham Community School. He is fully qualified to work as a pool lifeguard (NPLQ) and swimming instructor (Level 1). In the school he is conducting netball and football extra-curricular activities.

This Spanish PE specialist is really enthusiastic and he is looking forward to contributing to the future of the school turning it into a sport reference in the RBKC.

In his spare time he couches a handball team and he runs a bootcamp. He enjoys doing sport, travelling and listening to music.
